Paul Scherrer Institut is pleased to be hosting
the 9th biennial European Workshop on Beam Diagnostics
and Instrumentation for Particle Accelerators, DIPAC'09,
to be held in Basel, Switzerland, from 25-27 May 2009.
DIPAC provides a unique forum for experts and novices
to share their experience and to exchange information
and ideas in the field of beam diagnostics. The Workshop
aims to provide an atmosphere that fosters lively discussions
regarding lastest developments and new concepts in instrumentation
at particle accelerator facilities worldwide, ranging from low energy gun
and injector test facilities to high energy, high intensity hadron
accelerators and colliders. Diagnostics and instrumentation
issues at synchrotron radiation user facilities, accelerator-based
cancer therapy centers and next generation LINAC-based single pass FELs
also form an integral part of the Workshop.
The DIPAC'09 Programme Committee encourages those actively engaged
in this rapidly advancing field of accelerator design to participate and
contribute to the scientific programme by submitting an abstract
for poster or oral presentation.
